Overview
Navis is a web platform to bring suppliers and buyers together. It focuses on freight sourcing for both a regional and global scale, taking advantage of logistics opportunities that arise on the various trade lanes. With detailed execution through quality customer service, Navis GPS is a perfect fit as sourcing and logistics partner.
Challenge
We developed Navis for a port loading system. The main goal was to maximize the data validity and allow data to update even with a poor Internet connection
Solutions
We created a cross-platform software with various features such as local data storage, a module for application and web platform interaction. For development, we chose Cordova cross platform which fully met the set technical requirements. We developed a local data warehouse, as well as a system for updating data when the situation in ports changed.

Giving the captains, crew and owners the tools to store local data, view port load, check real-time data updates. Ability to use the system while offline and managing sync with central system database.

Check real-time data about the port availability, check rates, see the nearest ones. Adaptive data table that can include large amounts of data without slowing down the system
